You will be prompted to complete an interest form, and you will be contacted by my office to schedule your consultation. During our consultation call, if we determine we want to work together, I can schedule your first session and send you our intake packet.
General Inquiries, Cancellations, and Rescheduling
For general questions, to change our session schedule, or to cancel or reschedule our session, please email me at liz@create-u.com or call/text 248-469-8350. Appointment cancellations must be made within 24 hours of the scheduled session time to avoid a late fee.
Confidentiality cannot be assured via phone or email, so please do not share personal or sensitive information through these methods. If you are a client, you can contact me through the secure, HIPAA-compliant messaging in your SimplePractice client portal.
Location for In-Person Therapy
I currently offer in-person therapy at Create U, a Detroit-based integrative wellness practice located in a cozy, light-filled house and garden. This is not your typical counseling office! Their contact information is below, should you have questions about the space.

Parking and Accessibility: Free parking is available on Fischer Street. Create U is working to acquire ADA-accessible ramps and lifts, but we do not have these in place at this time. There are seven steps with railing on the porch and another small step to get into the door. Therapy rooms and a bathroom are on the first floor. Create U is located in a quiet neighborhood off a side-street. It is a beautifully decorated low-stimulation environment with natural lighting and size-inclusive seating. Please let me know before our sessions if you have any additional accessibility needs.
Commodities: Herbal teas, multiple room types to accommodate your preferences, art supplies and musical instruments, the option to do therapy in the garden, and available referrals to other integrative health providers associated with Create U, such as acupuncture, herbalism, reiki, massage, and medicine management.
