Mental Health Emergencies

I do not provide crisis counseling. If you are in imminent danger of hurting yourself or others, call 988 (national mental health emergency line, see note below), contact one of the emergency resources below, or proceed to the nearest emergency room.

Important Note About 988: If you’re thinking about suicide/homicide but not taking steps to act on it, 988 counselors are not likely to call law enforcement without your consent, but will provide resources and referrals. But, if you’re at imminent risk and could act on a plan to hurt yourself/others, police may be called, and you could be taken to a hospital involuntarily.
